Nike's Cushioning Innovation team is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to support the development and evaluation of next‑generation cushioning systems. The role is hands‑on and data‑driven, working end to end from ideation to validation.

You will design and run experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings to diverse audiences while developing skills in DOE, prototyping, safety and systems thinking.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a master's degree in engineering with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Experience with project tracking tools and DOE.
• Strong data analytics, multi‑tasking and organisation skills.
• Excellent communication across diverse audiences and safety‑minded.
• Hands‑on problem solving with a systems thinking approach.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Cushioning Innovation team to invent and evaluate future cushioning systems.
• Support development of performance‑based cushioning solutions for market growth.
• Contribute to hands‑on R&D of product innovations.
• Help interpret function and performance of cushioning systems.
• Communicate technical topics clearly to cross‑functional audiences.
• Challenge assumptions and imagine new cushioning development possibilities.
