Job summary

Sportsman Boats is seeking a Cushion Coverer – Upholstery to transform cut fabrics into finished boat cushions. You will work hands-on, stitching, covering, and finishing cushions for installation in our boats, contributing to quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop new upholstery skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus and marine/boating industry experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Stuff and fit cushions according to patterns.
• Cover cushions with fabric and securely staple materials to the framework.
• Button and finish cushions for installation in our boats.
• Inspect finished cushions for defects, damage, or stains.
• Maintain Sportsman Boats' high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work independently and as part of a team to keep production moving.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. You don't have to come from the boating industry—we can teach you our processes and help you develop your skills.

You'll need:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand and work with your hands and arms for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, grip, push, pull, and perform other physical movements throughout the day
• High school diploma or equivalent

Bilingual Spanish/English and marine or boating industry experience are a plus!
