New Horizon Academy, Inc. in Mankato seeks a Curriculum Coordinator to lead lesson planning, support teachers, and mentor staff in our Early Childhood program. The role emphasizes aligning curricula with licensing standards and accreditation guidelines while fostering a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds an associate or bachelor’s in ECE with two years of licensed ECE experience and knowledge of state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2 years' experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting.
• Working knowledge of state licensing requirements, National Accreditation guidelines, and early childhood development teaching and assessment strategies.

Description

As a Curriculum Coordinator at our Mankato location, you will be:

• Assist in creating and reviewing lesson plans.
• Replacing a staffmember in the classroom as needed.
• Assisting in training new teachers in the classroom.
• Serving as a mentor to new or existing teachers.

Potential candidates must be organized, detail-orientated, self-motivated, reliable, and able to lead in a fast-paced, highly professional environment. Potential candidates must have:

• Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2 years' experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting.
• Have working knowledge of state specific licensing requirements, National Accreditation guidelines, and early childhood development teaching and assessment strategies.
