Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk in Idaho to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, creating a smooth pickup experience for customers. You will play a key role in driving customer loyalty by ensuring correct items are selected, payments are processed, and orders are completed efficiently.

No prior retail experience is required beyond a willingness to learn; training is provided. If you enjoy staying active, using technology, and helping customers, this role could be a great fit

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
