Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a curbside associate responsible for driving customer loyalty through fast, friendly, and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.

You will greet customers, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized curbside area while coordinating with leadership as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of cashier/retail experience, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years cashier/retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong communication skills.
• General awareness of food safety regulations.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Process driven and ability to follow procedures efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction at curbside with fast, friendly, accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team, and leadership.
• Provide courteous service in person and on the phone.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly by involving leadership when needed.
• Receive workflow from dashboard and fulfill daily orders.
• Select and bag products following bagging standards.
• Store products in the staging area per food safety guidelines.
• Greet customers and process payments for orders.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
