Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring for a curbside pickup associate to transform online orders into friendly, reliable pickups. You’ll greet customers, verify items, process payment, and ensure accurate fulfillment in a fast-paced grocery setting.

You bring a high school diploma, strong communication, and a customer-first attitude. Prior cashier or retail experience helps, and you’ll learn new tech tools while handling lifting and standing for long shifts. Meijer offers weekly pay and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup.
• Fulfill orders accurately and collect payment at the carside experience.
• Greet customers in person and on the phone with a courteous attitude.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during shifts.
• Select, scan, verify, and bag items per standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
