Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to deliver curbside pickup service with accurate order fulfillment and friendly customer interaction. You will greet customers, handle payments, and work with store leadership to resolve issues while maintaining a clean curbside area.

The role emphasizes quick learning of new technologies, strong communication, and a dependable, detail-oriented approach. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus for seamless integration into our store teams.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role providing helpful, friendly service.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Experience handling cash and operating checkout equipment.
• Prior retail experience is a plus for faster onboarding.
• Physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and movement around the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside pickup service and accurate order fulfillment.
• Greet customers warmly in person and on the phone; respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by coordinating with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow via dashboard and fulfill orders efficiently.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep pickup area clean and ready for the next customer.
