Job summary

Meijer seeks a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, delivering a convenient, right-on-time pickup experience. You will greet customers, verify items, and process payments at the curbside pickup area with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include selecting and bagging items, maintaining a clean curbside space, and collaborating with store leadership to resolve issues while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer courteously in person and on the phone and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
