Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a curbside order fulfillment associate to enhance customer loyalty by delivering fast, friendly and accurate pickup service. You will handle payments and ensure a smooth shopping experience for online orders.

You will greet customers, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate with team members and leadership while following safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with strong communication and cash-handling skills.
• Experience in a Meijer store is preferred and demonstrates familiarity with store procedures.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online curbside orders with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, teammates, and leadership.
• Present a courteous attitude in person and over the phone and respond to questions.
• Resolve customer issues by escalating to leadership when needed.
• Receive workflow from dashboard and complete daily orders.
• Bag products per standards and store them correctly in the staging area.
• Greet customers and process payments for orders; keep the area clean.

This position will be responsible for fulfilling a customer’s online curbside order.

What You'll be Doing:

• This position will drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by providing remarkable service at the curbside pick-up area with fast, friendly and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Present a courteous and friendly attitude towards customers (in person and on phone) and respond to their questions and needs.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly by contacting leadership when needed.
• Receive workflow from dashboard and fulfill orders for the day.
• Utilize selection process for product within the store and bag product appropriately following bagging standards.
• Store product correctly in the staging area following food safety guidelines.
• Greet each customer and take payment for the order ensuring an easy shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Meijer store preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
