Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring for a curbside order fulfillment role. The associate will fulfill online curbside orders, greet customers, collect payments, and ensure a smooth, positive shopping experience.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork with store leadership, and adherence to food safety standards. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of Meijer store experience, with cashier background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction at curbside with fast, friendly, accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Maintain positive relationship with customers, teammates, and leadership.
• Greet customers and handle payments to ensure easy shopping.
• Respond to questions and needs courteously.
• Resolve complaints quickly by involving leadership when needed.
• Receive workflow from dashboard and fulfill daily orders.
• Bag products following bagging standards and store appropriately.
• Store products in staging area per food safety guidelines.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

This position will be responsible for fulfilling a customer’s online curbside order.

What You’ll be Doing:

• This position will drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by providing remarkable service at the curbside pick-up area with fast, friendly and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Present a courteous and friendly attitude towards customers (in person and on phone) and respond to their questions and needs.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly by contacting leadership when needed.
• Receive workflow from dashboard and fulfill orders for the day.
• Utilize selection process for product within the store and bag product appropriately following bagging standards.
• Store product correctly in the staging area following food safety guidelines.
• Greet each customer and take payment for the order ensuring an easy shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
