Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to drive curbside loyalty by accurately fulfilling online orders and creating a smooth pickup experience. You will greet customers, respond to needs, and work with leadership to resolve issues.

You’ll process orders from the store, scan and bag items, and keep the curbside area tidy while supporting other tasks to ensure on-time pickups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders accurately and complete payment collection at curbside.
• Provide courteous service at the Meijer Pickup area.
• Greet customers and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leaders.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership.
• Process daily workflow and fulfill orders during shift.
• Scan/verify items, bag items, and store as per bagging standards.
• Keep curbside area clean, neat, and ready for next pickup.
• Support additional tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
