Job summary

Meijer in Maumee, OH is seeking a Digital Clerk to efficiently fulfill online curbside orders and create a smooth pickup experience for customers. You will greet customers, verify items, and handle payments while maintaining a friendly, helpful attitude.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and teamwork within the curbside pickup area, with training provided for new technologies and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide curbside pickup service at the Meijer Pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and store leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
