E-Z Bel Construction, LLC in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a skilled concrete form setter to translate layouts into accurate forms and execute finishing operations on sidewalks, ramps, curbs, and slabs.

You will brace forms, install wall ties, rebar chairs, and perform screeding, edging, and troweling to achieve proper slope and a broom finish. Outdoor, year-round work with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on concrete form setting and finishing.
• Ability to read drawings, layouts, and elevation indicators.
• Knowledge of ADA, TxDOT, and common concrete specs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate layouts into formed concrete structures and ensure accurate elevations.
• Brace and align forms, install wall ties and rebar chairs.
• Screw/strip forms, pour and screed to proper slope and finish surfaces.
• Coordinate with concrete truck drivers on pour day and ensure safety protocols.

Do You See What the Finished Pour Should Be—Before It’s Placed?If you take pride in dead-on lines, true elevations, and a broom finish that sheds water exactly where it should, this role is for you. Help us shape sidewalks, driveways, ADA ramps, curbs, gutters, and structural slabs that serve the public every day.How You’ll ContributeYou’ll translate the Foreman/Survey team’s layouts and elevation marks into accurately built formwork. With wood, steel, and SIM systems, you’ll align and brace forms; install wall ties, chamfer strips, expansion joints, rebar chairs, and bracing; and confirm slope and alignment using smart levels, tapes, string lines, and grade pins. You’ll cut form materials, stakes, and strong backs to size; place, tie, and cut rebar and wire mesh with correct spacing and overlap; and add detectable warnings, ADA-compliant ramp slopes, armored joints, and embedded fixtures.On pour day, you’ll coordinate with concrete truck drivers for staging, chute placement, and sequence. You’ll screed to elevation, maintain proper drainage slope, and finish surfaces with edgers, hand floats, jointers, brooms, and powered finishing tools. You’ll operate walk-behind screeds, vibrators, and finishing machines safely.
