Job summary

Merative seeks a Business Analyst with a strong Curam background to deliver complex social services implementations for government agencies globally. You will define requirements, document user stories, and guide cross-functional teams through design and delivery.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, MVP alignment, and rigorous process analysis within a remote-first setup, offering a flexible work culture and opportunities to influence large-scale programs.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large IT consulting firm or a public sector agency.
  • Curam services delivery and/or Curam product experience, ideally with understanding of Universal Access, Evidence, Rules and Outcome Management.
  • Proven expertise in business process analysis, including user stories, process flows, gap analysis and documentation.
  • Expertise in identifying and evaluating delivery methods and advising teams on best practices based on measurable outcomes.
  • Experience supporting teams by helping visualize outcomes, prioritize tasks, and delivering solutions aligned with the MVP, sprint, and project scope.
  • Capability to confidently facilitate cross-functional meetings involving clients, system integrators, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analysis, definition and documentation of customer requirements. Analyzing the business requirements of our customers and writing the functional documentation and user stories required by the technical consultants who develop our software.
  • Act as the point of contact for business-related questions and issues that arise and require clarification, working closely with technical consultants.
  • Act as a focal point for the design and development team when discussing design options and the various merits of different approaches.
  • Become a Cúram product functional expert, giving demonstrations of the software capabilities, performing fit/ gap analysis and advising on the best approach to implementing solutions using the product.
  • Scope Proofs of Concepts (POCs), if necessary, with technical support.
  • Lead agile sessions when required.
  • Prioritize and document solution requirements including Use case and/or process flows, User Stories, Data definitions and/or logical data models, Screen design and story boarding, QA and test case development

As a Business Consultant on the Curam team, you will have responsibility for the delivery of project implementations utilizing your current skills while growing your expertise in Curam and Social programs.

What we would love to see:
  • Social Service management experience in public sector/government and functionality of Human Services programs such as Child support, SNAP, TANF, juvenile justice, eligibility, etc

  • Experience implementing and customizing Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) functionality to meet requirements.

Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

Min – Max :

$104,009.60 - $182,680.80 (USD)
