Job summary

TRIDENT is seeking a Security Officer to provide professional security and safety services at assigned locations in Cupertino, CA.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires strong observation skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• California Driver’s License and BSIS Guard Card required.
• Must be 21 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of Security Specialists to ensure customer and employee safety in retail environments.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and deter incidents.
• Observe, report, and respond to unusual or unsafe conditions.
• Investigate and document security-related incidents, accidents, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to requests for assistance from supervisors or clients.
• Support client personnel during evacuations, hazardous situations, or emergencies.
• Assist with crowd control and coordinate with public safety officials when necessary.
• Verify proper identification for employees on client property.
• Conduct parking enforcement and assist with vehicle-related disputes or incidents.
• Greet and assist customers and employees professionally and proactively.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic First Aid, CPR, or AED support (if certified).
• Conduct exterior patrols to ensure doors, gates, and windows are secure.
• Participate in daily shift briefings and communicate site updates.
• Perform mobile patrols between retail locations as needed.
• Maintain company equipment in proper working condition.
• Complete accurate, detailed written reports as required.
