Job summary

Jobtailor in Ohio, Kenton, seeks a dedicated cup machine operator to join our production team. You will operate cup machines, perform routine adjustments, and help manage ink and fluid levels to keep lines running smoothly.

You will follow the production schedule, prepare machines for shifts, and work with maintenance on larger issues while upholding food safety and quality standards. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Operate cup machines, perform roll changes and adjust ink/ fluids as needed.
• Follow production schedule and determine print changes.
• Prepare machines for production and perform cleaning.
• Start up and maintain fluids; troubleshoot and notify maintenance for major issues.
• Maintain clean area and comply with food safety standards.
• Assist other operators during breaks and follow cleaning checklists.

Job description

• Perform various cup machine related duties such as roll changes, maintaining ink and fluid levels, and making minor mechanical adjustments as required to run efficiently.
• Follow production schedule; inspect orders listed on assigned machines to determine current prints and necessary print changes.
• Prepare 3-4 cup machines for production; clean mandrel turret, inspect electrical cabinet, and load necessary materials.
• Start up machines and maintain fluid levels; troubleshoot as necessary and notify maintenance for large problems.
• Keep machine and area clean; conduct monthly cleaning and maintain production consistent with food safety and quality standards.
• Operate machines of other cup operators during breaks; follow given machine cleaning checklist and notify of any issues.

Requirements

• Must be able to frequently and safely carry and lift scrap buckets of approximately 30 lbs.
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Standing continuously is required.
