Job summary

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, ability to read/process instructions, and at least one year of relevant experience with manufacturing equipment. Basic PC skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or recognized equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read and write English to communicate with team and supervision.
• Read and comprehend process instructions.
• Record pertinent process information as required.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Must pass the mechanical aptitude evaluation.
• Must possess basic PC skills to navigate menus and print documents.

Responsibilities

• Works in a safe and orderly manner at all times and obeys rules.
• Obtains, maintains and wears safety equipment as directed.
• Attends shift, department and plant meetings on time.
• Performs changeovers on machines and related equipment as directed.
• Troubleshoots and performs light maintenance on malfunctioning machines.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on production machinery as scheduled or as needed.
• Assists Engineers in developing and troubleshooting new and revised products and processes.
• Acts as a mentor to Operators and Technicians in training.
• Hazardous Waste Management training within six months and annually thereafter.
