Job summary

HELIX Environmental Planning, Inc. seeks an experienced Cultural Resources Group Manager to lead and grow its Northern California practice.

You will shape strategy, manage client relationships, and ensure technical excellence across projects in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment. The role emphasizes leadership, business development, and mentorship with a flexible hybrid work schedule; remote arrangements may be discussed for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, History or closely related field with concentration in Archaeology.
• Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) certification or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Lead HELIX's Northern California Cultural Resources Group and drive strategic growth.
• Develop and implement regional business plans and marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and pursue new opportunities in Northern California.
• Oversee major cultural resources projects, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead cultural resources staff; coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
