Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in geography, anthropology, archeology, historic preservation, history, or closely related field
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience
• If no degree, at least six (6) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Utilize ESRI GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data
• Publish, configure, and maintain web maps, hosted feature layers, dashboards, and GIS applications in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise
• Conduct spatial analysis and apply geoprocessing techniques to support cultural resources projects
• Create high-quality maps and interactive web applications for presentations and reports
• Collaborate with team members to design and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data retrieval
• Assist in the development and implementation of geospatial workflows and standards
• Stay up to date on the latest GIS technologies, tools, and methodologies
• Effectively communicate GIS findings and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through written reports and presentations
• Provide GIS technical assistance and basic training to project teams and end users
