White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624 is seeking a part-time Exempt position to support the American Indian Education Program across grades K-12. The role focuses on sharing American Indian language and cultural knowledge, under the guidance of the Equity and Engagement leadership.

Key duties include executing the AI Education Plan, developing programming with the AI Coordinator and Parent Advisory Committee, identifying AI students, and promoting equitable student outcomes district-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with American Indian Education Program is preferred.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and communities.

Responsibilities

• Execute the American Indian Education Plan under the Director of Equity and Engagement.
• Collaborate with the American Indian Coordinator and Parent Advisory Committee on programming.
• Identify American Indian students in the district and support enrollment efforts.
• Partner with principals to improve climate and promote educational equity.
• Facilitate empowerment and identity development groups for students.
• Provide culturally relevant learning opportunities in and out of the classroom.
• Implement the Achievement and Integration Plan, District Strategic Plan, and Equity Action Plan.
• Collaborate with the AI Education Coordinator to strengthen district-wide experiences.
