Job summary

Stash Ventures is seeking a Cultivation Technician to support plant care from clone to harvest in an indoor grow, following SOPs and safety guidelines. The role emphasizes meticulous record keeping, equipment sanitation, and adherence to OSHA regulations within a fast-paced cultivation facility.

Located in Owosso, MI, the position operates 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Saturday through Wednesday, supporting High Minded and related brands.

Qualifications

• No experience required, however 6 months of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a background check.
• Close visual focus is required.
• Ability to wear PPE and be exposed to varying conditions in grow facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all plant care from clone to harvest in indoor grow, watering, feeding, and monitoring environments.
• Move plants between areas as needed.
• Clean and sanitize all work areas and tools.
• Follow SOPs and OSHA regulations for safe operations.
• Maintain records and timecard/scheduling documentation.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management including general labor.

Position Summary

The Cultivation Technician provides care and support for plant cultivation through abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. This position is responsible for proper care of all plants while assuring quality to expected company standards and ensuring a safe work environment. This position has working hours of 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in all plant care from clone to harvest in indoor grow, watering, feeding, and monitoring environments, etc., as needed.
• Moving plants.
• Cleaning and proper sanitation of all work areas as well as any tools used in trimming, curing, etc.
• Follow all rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain safe and healthy work environments by following OSHA regulations, organizational standards, and legal regulations.
• Keep good records and follow documentation practices including understanding and maintaining timecard and scheduling software.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management including general labor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• No experience required, however, 6 months of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Close visual focus is required.
• This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection,) and be able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE.
• Exposure to allergens and chemical pesticides in the grow facility and greenhouse.
• Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor A/C, no A/C, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water.
