Position Summary/Objective

Cultivation Technicians are responsible for assisting the managers in the day‑to‑day functions of the cultivation production areas, including the propagation, cultivation, and harvest of cannabis plants. Successful Cultivation Technicians are energetic, detail‑oriented, operational team players with strong communication skills and a can‑do attitude. By closely following the training and guidance from the Management Team, Cultivation Technicians take the daily actions that result in the success of our crops and the quality of our product. Additionally, minimizing miscommunications and taking seriously the concerns of other cultivation team members ensures a safe and responsible workplace. We are seeking a passionate, driven, detail‑oriented and collaborative Cultivation Technician to support the company's cultivation activities. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and is a collaborative team player but also a self‑starter. Previous cannabis cultivation experience is not required. Role reports to the Cultivation Manager.

  • Other duties as needed
  • Update any personal information for contact, payment, benefits, tax purposes, or similar contained in an employee's personnel file
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a commercial cannabis setting is beneficial but not necessary
  • Certification(s)/education in agricultural, horticultural, or botanical practices are beneficial but not necessary
  • Education in agriculture, horticulture, or botany is beneficial but not necessary
Other Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Ability to work weekends/holidays
  • Ability to perform activities for up to 8 hours a day
  • Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
  • Must pass stringent background test requirements of Pennsylvania
Physical Environment Conditions
  • Ability to perform essential job functions for extended periods (8–10 hours per day).
  • Frequent activities may include sitting, walking, bending, climbing ladders, reaching, and frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds over a distance of up to 100 feet.
  • Work may involve exposure to cannabis odors, airborne particles, fertilizers, and high humidity in cultivation or processing areas.
  • Job duties may be performed in retail dispensaries, cultivation rooms, or post‑harvest facilities, each with varied lighting and temperature conditions.
Compensation
  • This position is classified as non‑exempt and is eligible for overtime pay.
  • Pay range is $18.50 – $21.50 per hour.
