Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking an entry-level Cultivation Tech I to support daily grow operations, including potting, manicuring, and harvesting. You will assist the Cultivation Manager, maintain cleanliness in cultivation areas, and ensure strict adherence to state compliance procedures.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred in this hands-on position on-site at our Missouri facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grow operations including cleaning, daily activities, quality assurance, potting, manicuring, and harvesting.
• Clean cultivation areas daily (floors, walls, tables, equipment) and manage trash, sanitizing.
• Follow compliance procedures mandated by state licensing requirements.
• Maintain open communication with the management team and co-workers.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards coworkers and management.
• Follow operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies.

• Assists with grow operations including cleaning, daily activities, quality assurance, potting, manicuring, and harvesting.
• Cleans in and around cultivation areas daily, including but not limited to floors, walls, tables, equipment and sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, sanitizing.

Education And Experience Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time
• The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions
• The ability to work in high CO2 environments
• The ability to use a half face respirator
• The ability to complete fine motor functions
• The ability to work in low light situations
• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity
