Position Summary

The Cultivation Technician Flower Lead supports plant cultivation by adhering to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Responsibilities include caring for plants, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with fertigation, harvest, propagation, and other cultivation tasks, including executing production and harvest plans.
  • Support all plant care activities from clone to harvest in indoor settings, including watering, feeding, and environmental monitoring.
  • Ensure team members are trained and capable of performing all cultivation technician duties.
  • Oversee daily tasks, ensuring completion within scheduled times.
  • Manage and update inventory records in the METRC system.
  • Participate in inventory practices, audits, and reconciliation of supplies, plants, and equipment.
  • Follow all SOPs and maintain a safe, compliant work environment per MIOSHA regulations.
  • Keep accurate records and manage documentation, including timekeeping and scheduling.
  • Gain understanding of environmental and fertigation systems.
  • Schedule and ensure breaks and lunches are taken.
  • Participate in interviews and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation preferred.
  • Knowledge of agriculture and plant cultivation, including nutrients, mediums, lighting, temperature, and airflow.
  • Understanding of plant diseases, pests, and treatment options.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Requires sitting, walking, bending, reaching, standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and repetitive tasks.
  • Visual focus, manual dexterity, and PPE usage are necessary.
  • Exposure to organic matter, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise.
