Job summary

Solar-Cannabis-Co. in Massachusetts is seeking a Cultivation Technician to support daily plant care, pruning, canopy management, and harvest prep in a fast-paced facility.

You will follow established cultivation procedures, maintain clean grow rooms, and document plant-care logs while coordinating with Cultivation Coordinators and management to ensure plant health and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proactive with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills required.
• Passionate interest in Horticulture.
• Knowledge in basic plumbing and electrical tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant care including pruning and general plant maintenance.
• Assist with trellising, plant training, and canopy management to support healthy plant growth.
• Monitor plants for signs of pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies, or other issues.
• Follow established cultivation procedures and schedules.
• Maintain clean and organized grow rooms, work areas, and equipment.
• Assist with transplanting, harvesting, and other cultivation tasks as needed.
• Accurately complete plant-care logs and other required documentation.
• Follow all facility safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures.
• Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding plant health and daily tasks.
• On occasion, you may be asked to cross train or assist in other departments or positions, such as Finished Goods or Flower Processing
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

JOB TITLE: Cultivation Technician

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:

• Reports directly to the Cultivation Coordinators with additional oversight by Cultivation Management

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily plant care including pruning and general plant maintenance

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must pass all required background checks
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends
• Must be, and continue to remain, fully compliant with all laws, regulations, and company policies
• Frequently moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance)
• This job function may include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods of time
• Must be comfortable working in a variable environment including high temperatures and humidity
• Comfortable working on lifts / heavy equipment and heights over 6 feet off the ground
