Job summary

Stash Ventures is hiring a Cultivation Technician to support plant care from clone to harvest in our indoor grow facilities. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to safety and documentation practices. The position supports overall operations across High Minded Owosso and related brands.

The ideal candidate has up to 6 months of regulated cannabis cultivation experience, is at least 21, and can pass a background check. PPE use and physical work are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
• Able to wear PPE and work in varying conditions (hot, cold, wet, humid, windy).
• Exposures include chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, and vibrations.

Position Summary:

The Cultivation Technicianprovides care and support for plant cultivation through abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. This position is responsible for proper care of all plants while assuring quality to expected company standards and ensuring a safe work environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in all plant care from clone to harvest in indoor grow, watering, feeding, and monitoring environments, etc., as needed.
• Moving plants.
• Cleaning and proper sanitation of all work areas as well as any tools used in trimming, curing, etc.
• Follow all rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain safe and healthy work environments by following OSHA regulations, organizational standards, and legal regulations.
• Keep good records and follow documentation practices including understanding and maintaining timecard and scheduling software.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management including general labor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• No experience required, however, 6 months of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.Close visual focus is required.
• This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection,) and be able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE.
• Exposure to allergens and chemical pesticides in the grow facility and greenhouse.
• Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor A/C, no A/C, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water.
