Job summary

Sunnyside* is seeking a dedicated team member for a pesticide application role in a regulated cannabis production environment in the Mount Joy area. You will support IPM activities, monitor plant health, and ensure compliance with Cresco Labs policies while maintaining accurate logs and records.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and obtaining a PA Pesticide Applicator License.

Qualifications

• Two years of general production experience, preferably in a regulated field producing for human consumption.
• Effective time-management, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work as a self-starter.
• Ability to stand and wear proper protective equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator License including required documents & exams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Ability to read pesticide labels and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mix pesticide and foliar applications and apply as per policy.
• Communicate with IPM Supervisor, IPM Lead and other department leads.
• Scout, scope, and monitor plant health according to policy.
• Execute pest/disease treatment schedules as outlined by IPM Supervisor.
• Assist with data entry and track & trace.
• Fill out IPM logs and reports as outlined by IPM Supervisor and IPM Lead.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for measuring and mixing pesticide and foliar applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labspolicy.
• Communication with IPM Supervisor and IPM Lead as well as other department supervisors andleads.
• Ensuring plant health by scouting, scoping, and monitoring plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasksrequired
• Execution of pest / disease treatment schedules as outlined by the IPM Supervisor
• Assistwith dataentry andtrack &trace.
• Responsible for filling out all IPM logs and reports as outlined by the IPM Supervisor and IPM Lead

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Two years’ experience in general production, preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption.Or,any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearlydemonstratesthe ability to perform the above-described duties.
• Effective time-management, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work as a self-starter
• Ability to stand and wear proper protective equipment for extended time periods.
• Ability to obtain andmaintainState ofPennsylvaniaPesticide Applicator License; including completion of state required documents & exams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced,changing,and challenging environment.
• Ability to read pesticidelabels.
• Basic math comprehension
• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
• Requiresabilityto sit, stand,kneel,and/or do repetitive actions with your hands forlong periodsof time.
