Job summary

Forefront is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to perform designated cleaning routines for the culinary department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and resident safety. You will set up dining areas, load carts, and assist in serving meals, while adhering to policies and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, sweeping and mopping, restocking supplies, and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English and understand diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments.
• Numerical ability is necessary for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Basic Food Preparation Knowledge.
• Sanitation and Safety Practices, including use of gloves when handling dishes.
• Thoroughness at handling soiled dishes, serving trays, and cleaning areas.
• Time Management with flexibility to work varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Set up the dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Sweep, mop, and take out the trash.
• Keep dining areas free of debris inside and outside.
• Follow safety, infection control, and reporting procedures.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Be knowledgeable of facility rules and participate in drills.
