The Culinary Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the culinary leadership team by overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation. This position requires strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to fostering a fair, positive, and respectful workplace culture. The Culinary Supervisor will guide kitchen staff in food production, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and supporting the overall success of the culinary team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a leader in the kitchen, overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, ensuring consistency and high quality.
  • Work closely with Sous Chefs and other team members to execute daily culinary operations, including food preparation, training, and managing kitchen flow.
  • Ensure adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Monitor food quality, presentation, and storage practices.
  • Assist with training kitchen staff in food preparation, safety protocols, and presentation standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining floor inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and organization of the kitchen and storage areas. Help with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring that all products are labeled with expiration dates and rotated properly.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment and work areas are properly sanitized and maintained.
  • Participate in the execution of market, restaurant, and banquet meals, ensuring all culinary tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
  • Safely operate gas and electric kitchen equipment (e.g., stoves, ovens, knives, etc.) while maintaining proper use and upkeep.
  • Adapt to varying work schedules based on business demand, including overtime, flexible shifts, and paid/unpaid breaks.

  • This is an AM position with shifts starting between 4am-5am. Flexible availability is required, including weekends and holidays. Work hours are based on business demand, including potential overtime as needed.
