Avamere is seeking a Culinary Services Manager to oversee the culinary department at Avamere Court Keizer. You will work under the Administrator with a Dietitian to plan, organize, and direct the department in compliance with applicable guidelines.

The role entails supervising kitchen staff, ensuring high food quality and sanitation, coordinating menus with the Dietitian, and maintaining documentation and records.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability to supervise professional and non‑professional personnel.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs for the Culinary Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the culinary department and coordinate with the Registered Dietitian.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal standards; maintain sanitation and food safety.
• Review menus, portion control, and inventory; manage staff scheduling and training.
