Job summary

Rose Senior Living at Providence Park is seeking a hospitality-focused Director of Culinary Services to lead the Community's Culinary Services Department. This role involves hands-on management, menu planning, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with nutrition guidelines and local regulations.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000–$90,000 annually based on experience, with opportunities to influence dining quality, resident satisfaction, and overall community

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree (culinary arts preferred).
• Successful completion of a recognized food safety course.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as an executive chef or chef in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in administration and management of food service systems.
• Senior living community experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive, professional, upscale culinary services program.
• Supervise the Culinary Services Department including interviewing, hiring, planning and directing work.
• Research, plan, develop, and serve menu cycles meeting nutrition/dietary criteria and local regulations.
• Meet or exceed established budgetary and financial guidelines.
• Hands-on cooking, serving, and dishwashing as necessary.
• Ensure staff are trained, properly uniformed, and capable.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and appearance and revise operations accordingly.
• Support driving top-line revenue and occupancy through staff engagement and sound business decisions.
