Forefront Healthcare in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a dedicated Culinary Services Aide to perform designated work and cleaning routines in the culinary department, ensuring resident safety and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will assist cooks, set up dining areas, serve meals, stock supplies, and participate in training and safety programs, with emphasis on infection control and HIPAA requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role in a care environment.

Qualifications

• Defined work routines in culinary department
• Assistance to cook in meal prep and service
• Compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
• Follow cleaning schedules and duties as scheduled
• Assist in trays, carts, and serving meals
• Setting up dining room and serving residents
• Wash and store dishes
• Reporting procedures for supplies and equipment
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies
• Attend in-service educational programs
• Follow safety codes and infection control procedures
• Know and follow facility policies, HIPAA and ethics
• Perform other duties as directed by Chef Manager/Culinary Director
• Commit to policies, training and competencies annually

Responsabilités

• Perform defined work routines for culinary department using utensils and equipment as assigned.
• Provide assistance to the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Follow Federal and State regulations and Culinary Services policies and procedures.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Help arrange trays, load food carts, and serve meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Follow reporting procedures for supplies and equipment needs.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Understand and follow facility rules and HIPAA requirements.
• Take on additional duties per Chef Manager/Culinary Director.
• Attend department meetings and pursue required certifications/licenses.
