Job summary

Ayden Healthcare Wauseon is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for patients, staff, and events. You will follow the planned menu and diet orders while prioritizing patient preferences and safety standards.

The role emphasizes food handling, timely execution, dishwashing support, and possible additional duties as directed by the Culinary Director. High school education is required with preferred experience in nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in food prep and service preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing/term care facility preferred.
• Food handler’s permit preferred.
• Superior customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of meals for patients, employees and events.
• Serve food according to the menu and diet orders.
• Adhere to proper food handling and safety techniques.
• Wash dishes and support Culinary Director as needed.
