Job summary

The Spine Hospital of Louisiana is seeking a friendly Culinary Services Aide to join our Culinary Services team. This role supports our employees, physicians, patients, and visitors by providing quality food service in a clean, safe dining environment.

You will assist with food preparation, service, stocking, and sanitation, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced hospital setting. Prior food service or healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service.
• Serve customers in the hospital café and dining areas.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Stock food, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation, serving, and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
