With a portfolio that spans ultra-luxury restaurants, hospitality concepts, and cultural destinations, the group is known for its commitment to excellence, discretion, and elevated guest experiences.

Position Overview

Mr. Hospitality Group is seeking a polished, knowledgeable, and guest-focused Culinary and Service Specialist to support our luxury dining and hospitality operations in Miami. This role is designed for an experienced food-and-beverage professional who combines a strong understanding of culinary production, pastry and dessert presentation, premium beverages, and elevated front-of-house service.

The Culinary and Service Specialist will help deliver exceptional dining experiences for local, national, and international guests across high-end restaurant, private dining, VIP, tasting-menu, chef-led, and special-event settings. The successful candidate will serve as a key link between the kitchen, pastry, bar, and dining-room teams, ensuring that food, desserts, beverages, and tableside experiences are presented with precision, knowledge, consistency, and hospitality.

The role requires the ability to understand chef-driven menus, explain culinary preparations and premium beverage selections, make thoughtful food-and-beverage pairing recommendations, support refined plated-dessert and tableside presentations, and uphold the service standards associated with a luxury hospitality brand.

Core Responsibilities
Guest Experience and Culinary Service
  • Deliver refined, attentive, and personalized food-and-beverage service to guests in a luxury restaurant and hospitality environment.
  • Present and explain chef-driven dishes, menu components, ingredients, preparation methods, plated desserts, special offerings, and premium beverage selections in a clear, engaging, and accurate manner.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine, champagne, cocktails, aperitifs, spirits, digestifs, and after-dinner beverages based on guest preferences, flavor profiles, dietary restrictions, and the desired dining experience.
  • Support curated food-and-beverage pairings, chef’s tasting menus, premium tasting-style experiences, private dining, VIP tables, special occasions, and special-event service.
  • Perform polished tableside service and presentation, including the introduction and service of signature dishes, desserts, beverages, and select chef-led culinary experiences.
  • Support pastry and dessert presentation by ensuring that restaurant desserts are delivered, described, and presented in accordance with culinary standards and the company’s luxury-service expectations.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond professionally to special requests, and provide discreet, detail-oriented service to VIP, celebrity, corporate, private-event, and international clientele.
Service Coordination and Operations
  • Coordinate closely with chefs, pastry personnel, bartenders, sommeliers or beverage leadership, servers, managers, and support staff to ensure accurate timing, quality control, service flow, and presentation standards.
  • Assist in maintaining consistent service sequencing, including course pacing, beverage timing, table maintenance, guest communication, and timely resolution of service needs.
  • Ensure that dining-room, table, service-station, and bar-service areas are properly prepared, organized, stocked, clean, and ready before, during, and after service.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of current menus, seasonal dishes, dessert programs, beverage lists, wine and champagne selections, cocktail offerings, ingredients, allergens, and company service standards.
  • Support inventory control, product availability, stock rotation, service-equipment organization, and responsible handling of food-and-beverage products.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and alignment of front-of-house personnel on culinary knowledge, dessert presentation, premium beverage service, tableside standards, and luxury guest‑experience expectations.
Beverage Knowledge and Pairing
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of wine, champagne, premium spirits, cocktails, aperitifs, and after-dinner beverages, including familiarity with French and European wine regions and producers.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Sommelier, beverage leadership, and front-of-house management to support thoughtful food-and-beverage pairing recommendations and consistent guest communication.
  • Engage confidently and accurately with discerning guests regarding wine styles, regions, producers, vintages, flavor profiles, menu compatibility, and pairing philosophy.
  • Support wine-service standards, curated beverage programs, premium tastings, special events, and exclusive beverage experiences.
Brand Standards and Service Improvement
  • Partner with the General Manager, Executive Chef, Sommelier or beverage leadership, and senior front-of-house personnel to support cohesive execution of the company’s exacting luxury-service standards across all guest touchpoints.
  • Support real-time resolution of guest concerns and service-recovery needs in coordination with management, while maintaining composure, polished communication, sound judgment, and a professional presence.
  • Serve as a visible yet discreet ambassador of Mr. Hospitality Group’s brand values, luxury-service standards, and guest-centric philosophy in all interactions.
  • Maintain impeccable grooming, posture, and professional demeanor, while consistently modeling the company’s expected front-of-house presentation and service standards.
  • Share meaningful guest feedback, service observations, and post-service insights with management to help identify opportunities to refine the VIP and luxury guest experience.
  • Follow all applicable food-safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, workplace-safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Represent Mr. Hospitality Group with professionalism, discretion, cultural awareness, teamwork, and a consistent commitment to exceptional hospitality.
Required Qualifications
