Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to assist the cook in meal preparation and service at scheduled mealtimes, following established policies and procedures. You will promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls, and provide meals that honor resident choices and preserve personal dignity.

The role focuses on compassionate geriatric care and adherence to Minnesota DHS guidelines while supporting Monarch's mission across its facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• The Culinary Services Aide must assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals meeting scheduled mealtimes. Will follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department and promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls. Provides meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving food service that preserves the element of personal dignity.
