Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Services Aide for a day shift with every other weekend/holiday rotation. You will assist the cook in meal preparation and service, following departmental policies to ensure quality and cost controls while delivering meals that respect resident choices and dignity.

Candidates should have a strong desire to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment after criminal background study per Minnesota DHS guidelines.
• Ability to assist cook and follow established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Follow policies and procedures of the Culinary Services Department and maintain service standards.
• Provide meals that meet resident preferences while preserving dignity.

Culinary Service Aide: Day shift. Every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Description:

The Culinary Services Aide must assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals meeting scheduled mealtimes. Will follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department and promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls. Provides meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving food service that preserves the element of personal dignity.

• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
