Job summary

Dawn Ranch Lodge is seeking a Kitchen Runner to blend prep/line cook duties with urgent food-running tasks in a fine-dining setting at our Guerneville property. You will support the culinary team from prep through service and confidently present dishes to guests.

The role requires strong knife skills, ability to multitask, and effective communication with chefs and staff in a fast-paced environment. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen experience preferred, especially in fine dining.
• Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques.
• Excellent communication with culinary and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and components according to recipes and Chef specs.
• Assist with plating and final dish preparation during service.
• Deliver dishes from kitchen to dining areas with correct temperature and presentation.
• Maintain clean, organized pass and service stations.
• Communicate shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the Chef.
