Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in residential treatment or similar settings.
• Must have a valid New York driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• ServSafe certification held or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare healthy meals following the four‑week cycle menu and applicable food codes.
• Maintain food service inventory and ordering for daily operations.
• Conduct daily kitchen inspections and ensure safety/sanitation standards.
• Train residents on kitchen safety and Adult Living Skills.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and PPE usage.
• Collaborate with Kitchen Operations Director/Nutritionist to meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Monitor and document kitchen equipment temperatures and safety systems.
• Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and pest reporting as needed.
