Job summary

Epic is seeking a procurement professional for our culinary department on the Madison, WI campus. This role manages sourcing of equipment from large industrial appliances to small wares and handles vendor relationships with a focus on quality, sustainability, and cost.

Relocation assistance is provided, and candidates must be able to work on site in Madison. The team serves thousands daily and partners with chefs, events, facilities and accounting to meet sourcing needs.

Qualifications

• Equipment procurement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Excel and Access.
• Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 Vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Procure equipment for the culinary department, from large appliances to small wares.
• Source from local farmers, national wholesalers, and other vendors to balance quality, sustainability and cost.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors.
• Collaborate with chefs and stakeholders including catering, events, facilities, and accounting teams.
