Job summary

Aramark in Conway, Arkansas is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with meal preparation, maintain receipts and meal records, and support daily reporting while upholding high standards of sanitation and kitchen safety.

You will help prepare meals, follow a planned menu, and ensure proper storage and timely serving according to policies and schedules. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and teamwork with the manager.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance presentation and customer happiness.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Adhere to the uniform policy.
• Communicate with Manager daily to state the day’s menu.
• Monitor food temperature requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work/storage area.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and steam tables, and other equipment.
• Follow procedures to ensure a balanced and safe environment; perform sweeping, mopping, ware washing.
• Maintain garbage collection site and kitchen floor areas neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
