Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a kitchen team member to support food preparation and cooking operations. You will peel, chop, grind, slice, and bread ingredients, following recipes and portion sizes to ensure quality and consistency.

You will operate gas, electric, steam, and microwave equipment, keep the workspace clean, follow sanitation procedures, and store foods at correct temperatures. The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment; additional duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading.
• Operates a variety of kitchen equipment using gas, electricity, steam or microwave heat sources.
• Disassembles, cleans and assembles component parts and accessories, following safety procedures to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment.
• Cleans, stores, and maintains all equipment and work areas after each use. Follows established sanitation procedures when handling food.
• Ensures that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacteria growth.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
