Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food preparation, maintain records, and ensure high standards of sanitation and kitchen safety. The role involves preparing quality meals, daily transaction reports, and maintaining proper food storage.

You will serve meals per schedules, use kitchen equipment safely, participate in cleaning, and ensure adherence to safety and uniform policies. This position may require physical activity and PPE exposure.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate preferred or required
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Capable of working quickly and concisely under pressure

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Maintain sanitary practice and kitchen safety standards
• Coordinate and assist in deep cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment
• Adhere to food safety regulations and uniform policy
• Notify Manager daily to prepare the menu for the day
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
