Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to direct daily kitchen operations and ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards. You will monitor quality, resolve food and service issues, and coordinate meal preparation for multiple locations.

You will supervise staff, train cooks, and enforce FIFO inventory, while maintaining strong communication with leadership and school partners.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Relevant Experience Required
• Serve Safe Certification; State variations may apply
• Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
• Strong attention to safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Experience with menu adherence and cost controls

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day kitchen operations to meet Opaa! standards
• Resolve food quality and service complaints to promote customer satisfaction
• Coordinate meal preparation and transport to satellite buildings as needed
• Supervise staff, delegate workflow, and document safety meetings
• Train and certify kitchen staff; ensure FIFO and inventory accuracy
