Job description

Brew Bird is a retro tow truck station turned funky-eating-joint located on the fringe of Downtown Fargo. We focus on bringing you classic items but kicking it up a notch by using the freshest, quality ingredients, throwing in some flavor twists and not taking any short-cuts. And guess what?! It’s all gluten free. . .but you would never know it!

Here’s what you’ll do:

  1. Prepare food from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results.
  2. Know and comply consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen practices.
  3. Cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
  4. Portion all the products, and always make sure the plate presentation looks great.
  5. Keep it clean! Follow the sanitation standards, make sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards.

You need to be:

Someone who loves to cook! You consistently have an eye for the important details. Being able to work in a fast-paced environment is vital, and if you have prior experience to prove it, that’s even better. Speaking and understanding English is a must, and so is being comfortable standing for long periods of time. You’ll need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have a great attitude and the flexibility in your schedule to work weekends and some holidays. Must have full-time availability and be flexible with change.
