Position Overview: The Culinary Manager oversees the back of house operations, controlling food and labor costs, maintaining food quality, and ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily safety and quality checks
  • Manage food budget and labor costs
  • Review supplier invoices and monitor food waste
  • Collaborate on menu development with the Corporate Chef
  • Ensure proper staffing and training of kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Handle staffing, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Respond to guest feedback and resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and liquor laws

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's in Culinary Arts preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, POS systems, and back-office reporting
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost controls, and food safety regulations
  • Valid driver’s license and work eligibility

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: The role involves indoor and outdoor work, standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually, DOE.
