Description

The Herons Cook is required to lead by example through hands-on involvement in all aspects of Herons production and service. The Herons Cook must always represent the Executive Chef's core values of quality, sanitation, and fair treatment of all associates. The Herons Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workplace as implemented by the Executive Chef and Chef De Cuisine. The Herons Cook reports directly to the Chef De Cuisine and/or the Sous Chef team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent education required.
• Experience: One to two years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Licenses or Certificates: Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits.
• Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per The Umstead Hotel standards.
