US Foods Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Food Fanatics Chef (FFC) to partner with area leadership, sales and support teams. The role focuses on consulting with customers, driving education of exclusive products, and leading culinary demonstrations at sales meetings and events.

The FFC will cultivate local restaurant community relationships and collaborate with Regional Culinary Managers to align culinary program efforts with sales growth initiatives and product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Direct customer consultation and relationship building is a critical element of the FFC role.
• Involvement in the local restaurant community and cultivating relationships for growth.
• Develop meaningful relationships by asking questions, identifying pain points, and offering solutions.
• Drive education, inspiration, and adoption of exclusive products and offerings.
• Lead culinary demonstrations and training to build confidence and inspiration for customers.
• Identify culinary trends and market conditions to spur sales growth and share with leadership.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, product cuttings, and sales conferences.
• Develop and conduct kitchen assessments and collaborate on action plans with the sales support team.
