Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Indiana, PA is seeking a Kitchen Expo team member to ensure timely preparation of all food orders per guest requests and Ruby Tuesday recipes. You will coordinate with service and heart-of-house teams to expedite TueGo, catering, dining room, and bar deliveries.

The role requires using the Kitchen Display System, maintaining hot/cold accuracy, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Flexibility for nights and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain service flow and prepare items to spec.
• Ensure hot foods stay hot and cold foods remain cold.
• Organize table orders in the expo area according to tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Set up, clean, and organize the work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage re-cooks and special orders, including allergen orders.
• Expedite food for TueGo, Catering, dining room and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, pleasant attitude and support teamwork.
• Assist service team to create repeat business and minimize guest complaints.
