Chartwells K-12 is seeking a Culinary Expeditor for a full-time role at our Houston commissary. You will coordinate loading and dispatch of meals and supplies to district schools, ensuring food safety and timely deliveries.

Experience in food service or related logistics is required, with strong organization and basic computer skills. The position offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with varying hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of food service, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or school nutrition experience required.
• Strong organization, communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accurate loading and dispatch of meals and supplies from the commissary to district schools.
• Review production sheets, packing lists and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Verify orders for accuracy, temperatures, and required documentation.
• Coordinate staging, secure truck loading, and on-time dispatch by route.
• Resolve shortages, substitutions and delivery discrepancies with kitchen, warehouse and driver teams.
• Maintain HACCP, sanitation, FIFO, inventory and delivery records.
